What is baptism?

We believe that baptism by immersion is a symbolic act of obedience for Christians. Baptism is a public testimony of the believer's faith in Jesus Christ, who was crucified, buried, and who rose from the dead. The believer's submersion into the water symbolizes their death to sin, and their ascent from the water symbolizes their resurrection to walk in newness of life.
