At the end of our last Capital Campaign, I continued to contribute to the building fund knowing there would be needs for our building in our future. I continued this offering for a number of years since it had become a part of our household budget. That future need is now part of our present reality: to bring our youth back to the church building and create a new entrance to our facilities. These renovations and additions are no longer a “nice-to-have,” but a "must" for our ministry.
When God's people make a commitment as a family, we can accomplish great things. I am excited about this new challenge that we will undertake together, each giving as their budget allows and as God leads. With the example of the widow's mite, God will take what we give and multiply it for this challenge we face.
May God bless all of us as we continue to serve Him in this new commitment.
