Inspired to Grow - Children's Ministry

04.28.17 | by Faye Scott

The world offers many opportunities in which families can invest their time, gifts and resources. Every day parents choose which activities their children will be involved in. Most parents consider their children to be their most valued treasured. If they value their children and want what is best for them, wouldn’t it make sense they would want to become involved in a place that values family?

Adults often view a playground as simply a place for kids to run and play.  Early childhood education shows that preschoolers learn through play. Children develop social skills as they learn to take turns, to share, and to have conversations with one another. They develop mentally as they engage in imaginative play. Preschoolers develop gross motor skills through trike riding, sliding, climbing and running.

A well-planned, well-constructed play area sends a message that children and young families are a priority.  As children play together, parents have the opportunity to interact with one another. Friendships develop, bonds are formed, life is shared together. Conversations between persons in the same stage of life can lead to sharing the life-changing message of the gospel.

The proposed preschool and children’s space provides an excellent environment for young families to play, learn, and share life together. Please continue to pray for the Inspired to Grow campaign as pledges made will impact the lives of the future generation. Thank you, FBNO, for your faithfulness in ensuring that children and young families will hear the gospel of Jesus Christ.
